MPT Basic Nonviolence Training
-
This is a 1-day training for 8 hours
(except where noted otherwise, below). The
fee is based on a sliding scale.
-
Fees from our trainings mainly cover
the costs of books and trainers. All participants receive the MPT
Non-Violence Training Manual and the booklet, “Steps Toward Inner Peace.”
A light lunch will be provided.

No one should be excluded from the
workshop because of the fees, as our mission is to train all that have
interest. Please contact MPT if the fees should present a problem.

In
general, we look for
between 10 - 20 participants per training. All participants must make the whole training, to
build continuity and community.
GOALS OF THIS TRAINING:

Experience the transforming power of
nonviolence for oneself and society;

Learn about and practice skills for
nonviolent peacemaking;
-
Learn of domestic and international
peace team opportunities;
-
Experience working as a peace team.
