Fall Team 2007

Report #2

Friday. October 26, 2008 - 2:15 p.m. EDT

Kathy called in the report. Everyone is doing well. Kathy said she and Pat are feeling even better today since they are more rested.  She said they had to work through the experiences of the day but that they are all in a good place now.

The team took part in a demonstration that Kathy described as “small but powerful.” They were in an olive field in an area where the apartheid wall (a.k.a., "security fence") is being built. Several of the demonstrators had a confrontation with the soldiers.

Tomorrow they are traveling south where they will spend the weekend picking olives. They plan to stay until Sunday.

On Monday, Kathy, Pat and Brenna will travel to participate in additional nonviolence and cultural trainings.
